Iowa authorities reveal cause of death of trucker who went missing

Authorities in Iowa recently announced the truck driver who disappeared late last year died of hypothermia after having ingested methamphetamines.

Schultz was initially reported missing on Nov. 21, 2023 after he failed to complete a delivery of hogs from Eagle Grove to Sac City. 

His truck loaded with about 120 pigs was found alongside a highway north of Sac City.

Schultz's body was found in a cornfield this past April. There was a massive search effort at the time of his disappearance.

Schultz was 53 years old.
