The deluxe edition of the atlas has laminated pages you can draw on with white board markers to trace your route. It also comes with a spiral binder to lay flat for easier use. It's available online and at most truck stops and travel centers for $34.99.
There also is a large scale edition, with maps that are 37% larger than the regular edition.
